Location: AZ,United States Member Since: Apr 19, 2010 Gender: Female Goal Type: Boston Qualifier Running Accomplishments: In high school, I ran the 400m and 800m, having PR's of 62.3 and 2:22, respectively. What I loved most about running was the competition and the feelings of anxiety, exhilaration, and nervousness that I felt when in a race. My goal now is to transfer my mid-distance/sprinting experience into a passion for distance running: I want to start with 5k's and go up from there. I would love to hit a 20 min 5k then begin to train for farther distances. Short-Term Running Goals: In addition to just getting in better shape, my goal is to be able to finish a marathon by the end of my junior year in college (I'm a freshman right now). Long-Term Running Goals: In my lifetime, I would like to qualify for and complete the Boston Marathon. Personal: I'm a busy college student trying to balance classes, activities, and a love for running! |
